Two years ago, on Natalie Woodβs deathiversary, I did a Natalie Wood slideshow at the Pool Gallery. We projected the slides on the bottom of the pool. It was freezing, but so worth it! Today is the 65th deathiversary of James Dean, who died in a car crash on a lonely stretch of highway five hours north of Los Angeles in Cholame, CA. Iβm sitting here tonight working on my upcoming fanzine ALL ROADS LEAD TO DEAN (Issue #30) which will focus on my road trip to Deanβs death site in 2018. I was on my way to the San Franciso Zine Fest and wanted to retrace Deanβs death drive. Lucky for me, I made it to my final destination. As we all know, Dean wasnβt so lucky.
